This position is responsible for the overall management of Starkey Human Resources recruitment, employee relations, compensation, employee engagement and recognition and the compliance of Starkey's policies and people practices for the European region. This position will have oversight for our facilities in the UK, Germany, France, Norway, Poland, Romania, Italy and Hungary with an approximate employee headcount of 700.. Approach and Deployment. Implementation of Employee Relations program, policies and procedures for our European facilities, Human Resources representatives and key contacts.. Provide direction & support for facility HR representatives. Provide direction & support for non-HR facility representatives. Assure compliance with policies and procedures. Collaborate and partner with UK Unions, European Work Councils and Business Leaders across the region to review employee relations topics and current legislation in order to anticipate employee relations issues and plans for solutions.. Identify, evaluate, coach and counsel management to resolve human relations, work performance and organizational productivity.. Maintain and secure human resources records and files.. Manage document retention and retrieval. Manage and review Starkey's policies are consistent with applicable Country laws, including interviewing, hiring, training employees, planning, assigning and directing work and appraising performance.. Participate in the recruitment process to ensure accuracy of job profiles and candidate fit; Manage requisition process [Partner with recruitment function where appropriate].
